NETAVIS iCAT Video Analytics Jump Start!
What has been a part of NETAVIS Observer Video Management for a decade is also included commercially now. In a time limited initiative, NETAVIS provides iCAT Video Analytics for free with Observer to underline the technological advance of its solution and to Jump Start the broad usage of the new product, sMart Data Warehouse.
The following three options allow the customer to receive iCAT Video Analytics free of charge:
- Purchase of an Observer license
The purchase of Observer Basic, Extended or Enterprise licenses entitles the customer to order up to the equivalent number of iCAT Video Analytics permanent licenses free of charge within the promotion period.
- Purchase of an Observer Update for existing systems
The purchase of an upgrade of existing Observer systems entitles the customer to order iCAT Video Analytics permanent licenses up to the total number of cameras licensed in the system within the promotion period.
- Installations covered by Software Assurance (SWA) Contracts
Within a valid SWA contract period, the customer is entitled to order iCAT Video Analytics permanent licenses up to the total number of cameras licensed in the system within the promotion period.
This time limited offer is valid from February 15 to August 31, 2017.
The iCAT Video Analytics licenses require to be ordered, they will not be issued automatically.
Other iCAT modules like iCAT Sabotage Detection, iCAT Face Detection, iCAT Traffic or iCAT Number Plate Recognition are not subject of this time limited offer and remain available according to the current NETAVIS End User Price List.
Prices for optional iCAT SWA contracts remain valid according to the current NETAVIS End User Price List
Any upgrade or extension outside the promotion period is not subject of this time limited offer.
NETAVIS Software requires the following information about existing systems to check hardware sizing:
- NETAVIS Observer version:
What version of NETAVIS Observer is the system currently running on?
- CPU Load:
What is the average CPU load of the server? (The server load display is located in the status bar of the main NETAVIS Observer client window.)
- ABS Bandwidth Management:
Is ABS used on the server? If yes, how many NETAVIS Observer clients are connected to the server simultaneously?
- Camera models and configuration:
What camera models will be used with iCAT Video Analytics and what is their configuration (codec / resolution / fps of live-stream and recording stream, etc.)
- Desired iCAT functionality:
What scenario do you want to solve with iCAT Video Analytics (e.g. people counting, perimeter security, loitering detection, etc.)?
